Effective March 26, 2026. The short version: your information is used only to serve you, shared only with your custodian to run your accounts, and never sold — to anyone, ever.
Why this notice exists. Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some, but not all, sharing — and requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.
What we collect depends on the services you use, and can include: Social Security number; income and assets; account balances and transaction history; investment experience and risk tolerance; employment information and financial goals.
All financial companies need to share clients' personal information to run their everyday business. Below are the reasons financial companies can share their clients' personal information — and whether we do.
| Reasons we can share your personal information | Do we share? | Can you limit it? |
|---|---|---|
| For everyday business purposes — processing transactions, maintaining your account, responding to court orders and legal investigations | YES | No |
| For our marketing purposes | NO | — |
| For joint marketing with other financial companies | NO | — |
| For affiliates' everyday business purposes | NO | — |
| For affiliates to market to you | NO | — |
| For nonaffiliates to market to you | NO | — |
Sharing for everyday business purposes includes disclosures to qualified custodians such as Altruist and Charles Schwab, who hold and service your account. This sharing is necessary to provide advisory services and is not subject to opt-out.
Fourzan Financial LLC, a registered investment adviser located in Chula Vista, California.
We use security measures that comply with federal law, including: secure, encrypted, password-protected cloud storage; two-factor authentication on all systems containing client information; access limited to authorized persons only; secure email practices for sensitive information; and periodic review of security practices. In the event of a data breach or unauthorized access, we will notify you as required by federal and state law and take prompt corrective action.
We collect personal information when you open an account or enter an advisory agreement; provide account information or financial documents; describe your investment objectives and risk tolerance; or communicate with us by email, phone, or in person. We may also receive information from custodians, brokerage firms, or other service providers in connection with managing your account.
Federal law lets you limit only: sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes; affiliates marketing to you; and nonaffiliates marketing to you. Fourzan Financial LLC does not share your personal information with nonaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes — so no opt-out election is required and you don't need to take any action.
We deliver this privacy notice at the start of the advisory relationship and annually thereafter for as long as you remain a client — electronically to the email on file, or on paper by written request.
Affiliates — companies related by common ownership or control. Fourzan Financial LLC has none. Nonaffiliates — companies not related by common ownership or control; we do not share your information with them for marketing. Joint marketing — a formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies to market together; we don't engage in any.
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related law:
Right to know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected, the purposes, and any sharing. Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we've collected, subject to exceptions required by law or necessary to the advisory relationship. Non-discrimination — exercising these rights never changes your service or pricing. No sale of personal information — we do not sell your personal information to any third party, period.
To protect you, we may verify your identity before processing a request. Verified requests are answered within 45 days; if more time is needed, we'll notify you within that period. To exercise any right, contact us below.
Client personal information is retained for a minimum of five years in accordance with applicable California securities law, in the firm's secure recordkeeping system. This policy may be updated to reflect changes in practice or law; the effective date above reflects the most recent update, and updated notices are delivered as regulations require.
